BATMAN:BLACK & WHITE-"Batman: Black & White" is a fan film that draws its inspiration from some of the darker stories that have appeared over the character's rich history. Titles like The Long Halloween, The Dark Knight Returns, Arkham Asylum, and Broken City contribute heavily to the aesthetic and tone of the film. Created over the course of a year by Chicago filmmaker Christopher Schrader and his producing partner Kristen Wenke, Black & White is a down and dirty film noir thriller that details a relatively unexplored time in the caped crusader's career. With no ties to any existing film or comic continuity, its ambition is to deliver a different kind of Batman movie than you've previously seen while retaining the elements that have made the character so resonant and iconic. DARK KNIGHT PROJECT- Director Jerry Vasilatos's latest film, "The Dark Knight Project" chronicles the adventures of Gotham Midtown students Heather Nolan and Mikey Bale, played by Allyssa O'Donnell and David Sanchez. Intent on being the first people in Gotham City to capture actual video of the Dark Knight in action for a school project, they set out with their video camera to interview people on the streets, witness the evacuation of a city block by police in the middle of a bomb scare, and ultimately encounter Batman in the middle of a back alley break-in where he saves both high schoolers from a menacing group of thugs working for the Joker. *This film is now available for viewing HERE. QUANTUM LEA-A LEAP TO DI FOR - Just when people think that Fan Films are getting stale, there is always a select few that pop up, generating newfound interest in the community. This upcoming film, from Director Christopher Allen and Rasco Pictures, is certainly one of them. Taking place fourteen years after the original television show, Quantam Leap-A Leap To Di For, will mark the return of Sam Becket, and follow him on a mission to travel back to the tragic events of August 31, 2007, the day Princess Diana's life was taken in a horrible car crash. With the Quantum Leap Project since dismanteled, The President Of The United States, realizing the signifigance of preventing the events of that infamous day, decides to reinstate The Project. Sam finds himself in a race against time to try and change history, and save the life of Princess Diana. TEEN TITANS - If you're among the band of restless hopefuls eagerly awaiting the release of Director Gill Herbert's Teen Titans Fan Film, there is cause to rejoice! Herbert has recently leaked some footage from the film featuring Roy Harper, otherwise known as Speedy. Just to warn you in advance, the clip is for ADULTS ONLY, Since it features drug use and nudity. Not a glamorous Superhero action clip, but we all know that Mr. Harper truly struggled with his own personal demons at one time, and the clip does a great job capturing that dark chapter in Mr Harper's life. The clip is supposed to be one of a series to come. Let's all wish Mr. Herbert luck in finishing production on the film. RETURN TO HILL VALLEY- Director Jeff Polanowski and Mastazz Productions bring you the tale of Jeffrey Brown and Kevin Davis. One stormy night the duo stumble upon the remains of a destroyed DMC-12 Time Machine. Little do they know that this fateful discoverey will send them on a journey through time, and a race against the clock to save one of their own lives. Unlike the original Back To The Future films, Return To Hill Valley will not feature a Delorean Time Machine. Instead, look for a suped up Ford Focus in the starring role. BVP-BOBA FETT VS. PREDATOR-I'll be damned if this one doesn't look like a full blown Fanboy joygasm in the making.. Two of the galaxies greatest hunters square off after finding they are both after the same prey, a lone Jedi Knight. J & J Productions, the film's creators, look to release the film in 2009'. THE BALLAD OF HARLEY QUINN-Coming your way from Director Andy Sawyer, TNT Lmtd. Productions, Blood & Boo! Master Films, and Flipside Films, is this Fan Film chronicling the origins of one of Gothams most notorious criminal minds, and Mister J's main squeeze, Harley Quinn. The film will cover all the bases, from Dr. Quinzell's Incarceration in Arkham Asylum, to Her first appearance on the mean streets of Gotham as Her costumed alter ego. THE HUNT FOR GOLLUM-Fans Of J.R.R Tolkien's Lord Of The Rings trilogy, and the many adventures of Middle Earths inhabitants, will be glad to know that there is yet another impressive Fan Film on the way rivaling the quality of Actors At Work Studio's much anticipated film, Lord Of The Rings-Born Of Hope. Coming from a slightly different angle, Driector Chris Bouchard, and the folks at Rickety Shack Films bring you, Lord Of The Rings-The Hunt For Gollum. The film will tell the tale of The greatest hunter and traveller of Middle Earth, and his quest to find the creature known as Gollum. Gollum must be captured to reveal the truth behind the ring, and to protect the future ringbearer. The film is based on the appendices of LOTR, and certain references in The Fellowship Of The Ring. With it's breathtaking visuals, and awesome, all original orchestral score, this baby is easily on the tippidy-top of my Can't Wait To See It List. BATMAN:KNIGHTFALL- Like Batman Fan Films? Like Flash animation? If you answered yes to one, or both of these questions, than I highly reccommend you check out this neat little Animated Fan Film by Allan Agustin. The film is adapted from the Knightfall storyline that ran through most of The Batman related comics of the 90's. The animation is very fluid, for Flash work, and the characters are well rendered.The short film is a fast paced slugfest, and a generous helping of Fanboy Eye-Candy, featuring all of your bat faves like, Bane, Two-Face, Nightwing, Anarchy, and more! Easily one of the better animated Fan Films I've had the pleasure to check out. Nice! Check out the film HERE.

CAPTAIN HARLOCK-Based on creator Leji Matsumoto's legendary Anime hero, Captain Harlock, This live-action trailer, by Miguel Mesas, and Euromedia, offers viewer's a little taste of how Hollywood may have handeled this live-action adaptaion. In the trailer (Which can practicially be considered as a film, it's that good.) Earth is in danger from invading forces. A young man from Earth loses his father in the turmoil and decides to joins up with Captain Harlock, and his crew of Space Pirates aboard the great spaceship, Arcadia. Well, that was a brief synopsis, now for the brief rave, WOW!!! I mean, just plain friggin' amazing my friends. This Fan Film features some of the most jaw-dropping visual effects, and CGI that I have ever seen in a Fan Film, and this thing's just a trailer! The finishing touch..a cast mirroring thier anime counterparts. Hands down, one of the most quality pieces of Fan Film work I have ever seen. Oh, one last tid-bit, the film is in Spanish, with english subttitles. If you have a problem with sub's (Which you shouldn't), this ain't for you. Bravo Mr. Mesas! Catch the trailer on Youtube HERE.

ELEKTRA: THE HAND & THE DEVIL- (Description Taken directly from Blinky Production's Youtube page) When a hit is ordered on Daredevil's head, two of the best assassins: Elektra and Bullseye, are sent. But in a quarrel over who gets to collect and take out the Man without fear, Bullseye ultimately slays Elektra with her own Sai. Now, after a painful ressurrection from the mysterious ninja force known as, the Hand, Elektra returns from the grave to finish her mission and KILL Daredevil.

HARRY POTTER AND THE HALF-BLOOD PRINCE-Harry Potter fans will be happy to know that there is another Fan Film out there worth seeing based on the young sorcerrer, and this is it! Brought to you from the student filmmakers of The Grimmauld Project, and Chalk On The Board Productions, comes this impressive trailer adding a new chapter to the Potter saga. When mysterious disasters and deaths are believed to be the work of us Muggles (Humans). Hogwart's Academy rises to our defense, they are almost certain the return of the nameless one is the cause of the recent carnage. But Voldemort is not acting alone, It seems that an army of Dementors have joined him and they look to bring the world to it's knees, starting with Hogwarts Academy. Harry, Sam, Hermione, Dumbledore, and the rest of Harry's friends band together to defend their school, and end Voldemorts attempted reign of power. Also look for appearances from many of your other Potter favorites throughout the trailer. This was a great trailer, accomplishing what every good trailer should, grabbing your attention with exciting content, and making the viewer long for more. Behold by clicking HERE!

THE INVINCIBLE IRON MAN - Director David Guivant has just released a mighty impressive teaser trailer for this upcoming Fan Film starring everyone's favorite Shell Head. The film will feature live action footage blended with 2D frame by frame animation. CAPTAIN MIDNIGHT AND THE SECRET SQUADRON-Golden Age comic book and serial hero of yesteryear (Captain Midnight) is back! This time around Cap and The sqadron are featured in their very own Fan Film thanks to Director Glenn Bain and Core Productions. The film is set during the height of WWII and Has Cap taking on a ring of Luftwaffe spies secretly trying to invade the U.S.. FRIDAY THE 13TH:MOTHER'S DAY-This Fan Film by Cory Stevens, Vile Entertainment, and The Collective is based on writer Eric Morse's Camp Crystal Lake series, and takes place after the events in the film Jason Goes To Hell:The Final Friday. More reluctant young thrillseekers will soon find out the hard way that everything they heard about Camp Crystal Lake is terrifyingly true. AQUAMAN-Coming Your way from Director Chuck Peters & Pure Thought Films comes this Fan Film based on The King Of Atlantis Himself, Aquaman! In the film Arthur Curry tires of His role as King and sets out on a mission to find Himself once again in Our world. When the abduction of local children makes the headlines AC has no choice but to take action and Aquaman is back in action! The film looks to be taking a sort of Smallville approach towards the characters since i don't see a costume on AC or Clark Kent, who also appears in the films first trailer. WONDER WOMAN-This trailer from Director Ken Feinberg, and starring Clarke Wolfe as Wonder Woman, was actually meant to be an audition video for Wolfe to be considered for the role as the mightiest Amazon of them all in Director Joss Whedon's upcoming Wonder Woman feature film. The trailer, written and produced by Wolfe, shows Diana struggling through various tests of strength and combat skills against other Amazons including Diana's arch rival Artemis. Diana eventually emerges as the victor and she is sent to our lands as an Ambassador of truth and understanding and to keep mankind from destroying the world. The trailer is more of a Fan Film since it is a bit lengthy, but that's definitely not a bad thing in this case. Packed with plenty of action, well done direction, and an impressive performance by Clarke Wolfe as Wonder Woman, this trailer packs a punch that almost rivals Untamed Cinema's "Grayson". JOE:BATTLE FOR THE SERPENT STONE-This upcoming film by Director Sean Robert Olson, Standing Room Only Cinema, and 2-Bit Pictures will feature the Men and Women of America's highly trained special mission force known as G.I. JOE. And what would G.i. Joe Fan Film be without a shared bill with the ruthless terrorist orginization codenamed COBRA. In the film both the Joe and Cobra teams are on the hunt for an ancient artifact known as The Apophis Stone. Cobra plans to use the stone to summon an ancient Demon Army for their own sinister purposes, while the Joe's are on the scene to make sure that doesn't happen. TARGET PANIC-This upcoming Film from Homesqueezed Films will focus on Roy Harper, formerly Green Arrow's sidekick Speedy and currently known as Arsenal. The film will focus on the great pain in Harper's life including His past and current feelings of rejection, abbandonment, and of course His well known addiction to Heroin. The film will be a one character show and will feature little to no action, instead focusing on the characters emotions. Hey, the Guy playing Harper even dyed His hair red to make his appearance that much more authentic. RETURN OF THE GHOSTBUSTERS-Director Hank Braxtan and the Denver Ghostbusters are back in this sure to be blockbuster sequel to Freddy Vs. Ghostbusters. This time around The GB's must stop a Madman with an ancient Talisman from destroying the world. This one looks to be a biggie clocking in at a whopping 80 plus minutes and a sizeable budget thanks to Us, The Fan Film Community and our generous donations. THE BLUE BEETLE-Leave it up to the dedication of Blinky Productions Chris R. Notarile and His love of B-Listers to bring one of Comicdom's biggest underdogs to the Fan Film screen. This film will be based on the second version of The Blue Beetle (Ted Kord) who takes on the role of the blue clad crimefighter after the passing of the original Beetle Dan Garret. The Ted Kord Blue Beetle is probably best known for His membership in the Justice League during the Keith Giffen and Kevin Maguire years on the book, which were often more humorous than textbook League. This upcoming film from Director Notarile, who also stars in the lead role as Kord and The Blue Beetle, will present the character in a more serious light, And Judging by the trailer this baby will do just that. The Blue Beetle costume is probably Notarile's best custom tailoring yet (Yup, He's makes the costumes to) Man o' man I'm excited about this one! X-MEN VS. PREDATOR-No longer seeing the Human Race as a challenge to hunt The Predators have turned their attention to a new and much more challenging prey, Mutants. It's up to Charles Xavier and His School Of The Gifted to take down the Aliens before they make the Mutant race extinct. CATWOMAN:RESOLUTION-Catwoman:Resolution will be the sequel to Director Colin Blakeston's previous Catwoman Fan Film CATWOMAN:COPYCAT. The film will also feature the return of Amber Moelter, who played Catwoman/Selina Kyle in the original film. In the sequel Selina Kyle has decided to give up Her life of crime, But not before "borrowing" a designer necklace to wear to Her New Year's Eve party. Unfortunately for Ms.Kyle a Crimelord demands the return of the necklace and vows to get it back by any means necessary. In the film Link is sent to Hyrule City where He meets Princess Zelda. Zelda tells Link the true meaning of the Triforce symbol He has been branded with. Meanwhile evil King Gannon makes plans to overthrow Princess Zelda's father, the great King Zelda, to become the new King and to bring the kingdom to it's knees. THE RAPTURE-Johnny K. Wu (A JOKER'S CARD) is back and has just released the firs trailer for His upcoming film THE RAPTURE. The Rapture is an Anime/Sci-Fi styled film featuring a pair or enhanced humans (each sporting a pair of razor sharp wings and tails) locked in a deadly game of Cat & Mouse. Sounds pretty darn cool to Me! Since Mr. Wu did such a fine job on A Joker's Card I have a feeling this film will be nothing less than fantastic. KINGDOM COME-Based on creator Alex Ross's painted Comic Book masterpiece KINGDOM COME comes this fully animated Fan Trailer by DJ Walcott and DMTR Comix. ROBIN-Directed by Bob Thomas and brought to You by Open Minded Productions ROBIN, an extended trailer, explores Tim Drake's life at Gotham High. When students start vanishing without a trace Tim Drake suspects that one of His teachers, Professor Jonathan Crane, may be connected to the crimes. Despite Batman's intervention Tim Drake Dons His costume and Robin prepares to face Crane's alter ego, the twisted villain known as The Scarecrow. This trailer has a nice direction, and features some fast moving action similar to GRAYSON. The Military/Superhero style Robin costume adds a nice modern touch and the Scarecrow doesn't look to shabby either. This trailer also features appearances by Batman and The Spoiler. Attention all You Bat Fans! Yet another Batman Fan Film is on the way set for a December 2005 release date. This film by Director Joshua Mims, Lyons Pryde Productions, and Wandering Mimstrel Films tells the tale of a big time setup in Gotham. It seeem that The Huntress has been framed for a murder during a botched bank robbery. Batman must use all of His skills as The World's Greatest Detctive to find the truth. If that's not enough Nightwing has come back to Gotham after abandoning Wayne years ago to become a solo crimefighter in Bluhaven. Batman must team up with His old partner to find the real killer.Now It just wouldn't be a Batman Fan Film without The Clown Prince Of Crime so look for an appearance by an extra creepy Joker.
